digital availability is exhausting
wtf happened
don’t get me wrong - cell phones, the internet, and email have had a positive impact on everybody’s life (in some aspect).
for example, since starting my business in 2020, i’ve made well over $100k directly through twitter and the connections i’ve made there.
and to me, even though i see the benefits, living within arm’s reach of anyone in the world being able to contact you 24 hours out of the day is absolutely insane.
it’s almost viewed as rude if you’re not immediately available.
in what world is that healthy?
if you’re accessible & ready for everyone, you’re present for no one.
